2014 OK Football Champs MacArthur Highlanders Invade the Capitol for Proclaimation

It's a good day in Oklahoma when both sides of government come together with one purpose.  This week that purpose was for proclamations honoring the 2014 Mac Highlanders for their State Football Championship.

On Wednesday, February 18, State Representative Ann Coody presented Coach Manning and the Highlanders a proclamation honoring the 2014 team.  Then just across the hall, Senator Don Barrington from Lawton did the same thing!  It was a chance for many of the team to visit the State Capitol for the first time, and before they left another special honor for long time Coach Ernie Manning for entering the Football Hall of Fame.
