Dwight Yoakam and Lucie Silvas, among many others, have joined the long list of artists who will take part in the 2016 Americana Music Festival.

The 17th annual Americana Music Festival & Conference (aka AmericanaFest) is set for Sept. 20-25 in Nashville. The event brings together legendary artists, rising stars, fans and industry professionals for multiple days of music and education, and this year, the festival will feature more than 200 acts performing at 14 venues throughout Music City. Along with Yoakam and Silvas, the newly added acts include Chelle Rose, Christian Lopez, James McMurtry, Muddy Magnolias, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rodney Crowell, Sam Bush and many more. A complete list of performers is available on the official AmericanaFest website.

Wristbands for entrance into AmericanaFest showcases are now available for $60. They are available online or in Nashville at Grimey's New & Pre-Loved Music and the Groove. Another option to catch all of the action is to purchase a ticket for the full festival and conference; registration is currently available to Americana Music Association members for $325 and to non-members for $425.

More information about attending the festival or conference (or both) can be found on the Americana Music Association’s website. As part of the 2016 Americana Music Festival & Conference, the 2016 Americana Music Awards will take place on Sept. 21.
