Family Tradition, Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound, Habits Old and New, Rowdy, The Pressure Is On, High Notes, Strong Stuff, Man of Steel wouldall rank in the top 50 albums sales for the week.
After slow acceptance by the traditional country music establishment in the late 70's, Williams would become quite prolific, releasing 21 albums between 1979 and ,1992. The albums, 18 studio & 3 compilation, were all, at least, certified gold by the RIAA. Between 1979 and 1990, Williams enjoyed a string of 30 Top Ten singles on the Billboard Country charts, including eight No. 1 singles, for a total of 44 Top Ten singles, including a total of 10 No. 1 singles, during his career.

Garth Brooks’ The Hits was certified multi-platinum for sales of 9 million copies.
The Hits is the second compilation album and first wide-released greatest hits album from Garth Brooks. Brooks first greatest hits album, The Garth Brooks Collection, was released three months earlier exclusively at McDonald's restaurants for a limited time to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Children's Charities.
The Hits was released on December 13, 1994 and was quickly deleted at Brooks' request. This was due to Brooks' views for whole record sales, instead of albums of singles. He insisted it only be available for a limited time, but not before it sold well over ten million copies. The Hits debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, and Top Country Albums. In June 1995, the master was buried under Garth’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
1990
Garth Brooks’ No Fences was certified platinum. With more than 17 million copies sold, it would go on to become one of the best-selling albums in country music history.
It was the first album released by Brooks in Europe and featured "The Thunder Rolls" , "Friends in Low Places", "Unanswered Prayers" and "Two of a Kind, Workin' on a Full House"
