A Song About A Song – KLAW Classic ‘El Paso City’ [VIDEO]

I love how Martin David Robinson know how to tell a story.  A story that doesn’t end with one song, but three.

Robinson, know professionally at Marty Robbins, first recorded the song ‘El Paso’, featuring a bar maid and a cowboy.  Later, he used the first song as a reference point for his 2nd in that series, ‘El Paso City’, today’s KLAW Classic.  The 3rd song in the series was titled ‘Feleena’  ‘El Paso City’ was the number one song on this day in 1976.
