Former Lawton High Men's Basketball Coach and Cameron University Women's Basketball Coach Adrian Wiggins has accepted the head coaching position at the University of Mississippi as their Women's Head Basketball coach. Wiggins takes of a Rebels team that went 12-18.

While at Cameron University from from 2000-02, Wiggins was 40-17 as the Head coach of the Women's Basketball program and led Cameron to its second-best record in program history and the Lone Star Conference's North Division title. The Aggies finished 25-5 and received a berth in the NCAA Division II Championships for the first time in their history. Cameron defeated Angelo State, 80-73, in the first round before falling, 64-61, to Saint Mary's (Texas).

After leaving Cameron, Wiggins made his way out west to Fresno State University where he has been the Head coach of the Fresno State Bulldogs Women's basketball program since he took the reins with 11 games left in the 2004-2005 season and went 7-4, During first full season in 2005 -2006, Wiggins led Fresno State to a 24-8 record including a 14-2 record in Western Athletic Conference play. Both marks set school records. Wiggins leave Fresno State with a career record of 175-66

Adrian Wiggins is a 1995 graduate of Cameron University, and received his bachelor's degree in psychology and was also a four-year member of the Aggie baseball squad. He also received a Master of Science degree in Alternative Studies from Cameron in 2001.
