Album of the Year is one of the ACM Awards' biggest categories of the evening. Several of the five artists up for the award in 2016 are surprisingly new to country music, but they're obviously talented. Who do you think will win Album of the Year at the 2016 ACM Awards?

Eric Church revealed Mr. Misunderstood, his fifth studio album, in the most unconventional of ways: He released the disc to his fan club via a surprise mailing. The project peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's country and all-genre charts following its wide release. Fellow nominee Sam Hunt's Montevallo is his debut studio record -- and boy, was it a hit. He co-wrote all 10 tracks, and the project has been certified double platinum and peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's country chart and at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Thomas Rhett revealed his second studio album, Tangled Up, in September. "Crash and Burn," "Die a Happy Man" and "T-Shirt" are all hit tracks from the project. Grammy Awards winner Chris Stapleton, meanwhile, has had much success with his debut album, Traveller: It won the CMA Awards Album of the Year honor, earned a Grammy for Best Country Album (and received a nod for Album of the Year) and hit No. 1 on the country and all-genre charts.

I’m Comin’ Over from Chris Young debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart (his first No. 1) and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Young co-wrote nine of its 11 tracks.
