Registration is underway for this year's Duncan Christmas parade, scheduled for this Saturday, and will get underway at 3 p.m., starting at the corner of 12th Street and Willow Avenue, just north of the courthouse. The theme of this year's parade is "Miracle on Main Street."

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places in the categories of Judges' Choice, Best Theme, Most Unique and in the Antique Car category. There will also be a $75 prize for best window display along the parade route. In order to be considered for the competitions, participants must register by 5 p.m. on Friday. Registration is free and can be done online at mainstreetduncan.net/events.html, or by calling Main Street Duncan at 580/252-8656.

Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles, tractors, and floats with the theme. Awards will be given! Santa Claus will be the parade caboose atop a Duncan Fire Truck. The downtown Duncan merchants will provide discounted shopping, refreshments, and more the day of the parade.
