When we last saw the firefighters of Ladder Company 62 in ‘Rescue Me,’ they were trapped in a building that had just been torn apart by a massive explosion. On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,’ Denis Leary offered a potential clue to the fate of his character Tommy Gavin in the series finale, which airs tonight.
While a preview of the finale showed a funeral procession, it’s unclear exactly who dies. Leary seemed to hint that it just might be his character.
It’s been more than two years since Charla Nash was savagely attacked and mauled by a chimpanzee. Nash received terrible wounds at the hands of the 200-pound animal, which tore off her nose, eyelids and hands and she was forced to cover her face with a veil.
But Nash’s recovery took a groundbreaking turn when she received a full face transplant in May. Her new face was revealed for the first time on ‘Today’ this morning.
While this promo for season eight of ‘The Office’ doesn’t offer any new footage, it does remind us why we love James Spader, whose cameo as the intensely confident Robert California drew raves last season.
Conan O’Brien knows that today’s sophisticated viewers demand nifty special effects, so the late-night host “hired” a digital effects team to work some CGI magic on ‘Conan.’ The team’s abilities, however, left much to be desired.
On last night’s ‘Tonight Show,’ Roseanne Barr announced that she’ll be running for president in 2012. Even more surprising is that she claims to be completely serious.
“I am running for president of the United States,” she said. “I’ve got to solve all the world’s problems. I’m totally serious because I want to be part of the debates. I want to represent the taxpapers and, in fact, I’m choosing the taxpayers as my vice president.”
A Texas man named Gatlin Jeter found himself in a quite a predicament when his SUV became stuck in cruise control last Saturday. Jeter was speeding toward Huntsville at 60mph and suddenly found he was unable to stop his vehicle, ‘Today‘ reports.
Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal was recently outed as a go-kart lover by TMZ and the pictures of his joyride in the itty-bitty car were a sight to behold. But trying to squeeze his 7′ 1″ frame into a toy Jeep proved nearly impossible on ‘Conan‘ last night.
“I like to feel small. So, I like to ride things that I can’t fit in,” said O’Neal, explaining his love of tiny vehicles. “People say, ‘He can’t get into that.’ I’ll be, like, ‘Watch this.’”
