‘Wonder Woman,’ Unlike ‘Suicide Squad,’ Won’t Have a Post-Credits Scene
Nowadays, watching a superhero movie without a post-credits scene or two feels almost incomplete. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 gave us an unprecedented four mid-credits scenes, and a few MCU movies before that had had at least two. But the DCEU is different, with both Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman eschewing the post-credits scene rule in favor of letting the movie end at the credits and allowing audience members to go the heck home. However, Suicide Squad did have one — which featured Amanda Waller handing over her files to Bruce Wayne. No doubt that was meant to connect Suicide Squad to the Justice League, but does that mean the upcoming Wonder Woman will also have a scene after the credits have rolled?

Luke Skywalker Has Some Rumored New ‘Last Jedi’ Gear to Help Him and Rey on Their Quest

The Last Jedi comes out in a little more than six months from now, and while we know pretty much nothing about the plot, that won’t stop us from speculating about every new prop the cast might be carrying in this movie! Apparently, Luke Skywalker does have some gear with him besides those five books in his cave, and one of these items is particularly intriguing.
Johnny Depp Turned Down an Early ‘Pirates 5’ Draft Because It Had a Female Villain
Man, Johnny Depp is having one PR disaster after another these days. Between lat year’s abuse allegations to this month’s hot goss about his inability to stop himself from spending money, you’d think he’d have run out of messes to get himself into by now. Well, shockingly, you’d be wrong, because news just got out that Depp had rejected an early draft of the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales script because its villain was a woman.
‘Wonder Woman’ Shows Off That Sparkly Truth Lasso in Action-Packed New Photos
It wouldn’t be a superhero movie without a glowy weapon of some sort. Wonder Woman has a sword and a shield, but her coolest weapon is her lasso of truth, which makes whomever is stuck in it unable to lie — and also acts as a pretty useful fighting tool on its own. World War I soldiers probably aren’t going to expect to get roped by a screaming Amazon during battle.

Marvel at the First Images from Hugh Jackman’s P.T. Barnum Musical ’The Greatest Showman‘
Hugh Jackman’s The Greatest Showman, a musical about the life of famed circus director P.T. Barnum, had a tough time getting off the ground. Before La La Land, if you can believe there was such a time, studios looked askance at any who suggested a rebirth of the Hollywood musical. But Jackman and director Michael Gracey were not to be deterred, working like mad to get their circus musical off the ground, and it paid off. The Greatest Showman will hit theaters this December, and the first images hit the Internet today.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’ Is Being Held Hostage by Actual Online Pirates
Since online pirates tend to view “don’t steal stuff” as more of a guideline than an actual rule, it’s no surprise that eventually they’d start taking aim at Hollywood. And, hey, why not start big, with, say, Disney, the biggest studio in the business? And instead of pilfering something like Coco, how about going after, I dunno, maybe Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth installment in one of the most recognizable brands worldwide? Well, that’s exactly what a group of hackers apparently did.
