America’s Obesity Rate Continues To Skyrocket
Americans keep getting fatter and fatter.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's annual state-by-state report on the obesity epidemic has revealed that between 2008 and 2010, 16 states had what was described as a steep increases in their adult obesity rate.

Fan Dies at Texas Rangers Game While Trying to Catch Ball
A man died at the Oakland A's-Texas Rangers game Thursday night in Arlington, Texas when he fell 20 feet over the left field wall while trying to catch a ball.
The victim, identified as Shannon Stone, had reached over a rail to grab a foul ball thrown into the stands by Rangers' star Josh Hamilton in the second inning. Stone, who was in the lower level with his son, tumbled into an area behind a wall near a scoreboard.

Dwight Yoakam has a new album coming out next year -- and it'll mark a return to his longtime home, Warner Music, after a decade spent recording for other labels.
"Dwight Yoakam is country music. His voice is immediately recognizable and his artistry is iconic," said label president John Esposito while announcing the signing. "When I heard his current music, I was blown away. I think that it is some of the best music he has ever done and I’m incredibly proud to have him back at Warner Bros. Records."
