Weekend Box Office: ‘Contagion’ Takes Top Spot from ‘The Help’
It took a global epidemic to do it, but ‘The Help’ has finally been knocked out of the number one spot at the box office after three weeks at the top of the list.
The Steven Soderbergh-directed ‘Contagion,’ about a deadly and fast-spreading disease and the panic it causes, earned $23.1 million at theaters in its first week of release, relegating ‘The Help’ to a runner-up status. The mixed-martial arts action flick, ‘Warrior,’ came in third during its debut week, with ‘The Debt’ and ‘Columbiana’ rounding out the top five.

9/11 Widow Peg Ogonowski Reminisces – And Looks Ahead [VIDEO]
Peg Ogonowski’s late husband, John, was the captain of American Flight 11 — better known as the first plane to hit the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001.
“It was that moment of before and after,” said Peg, a former flight attendant. “There was my whole life before and then everything changed. It was a real line in my life that there will always be before 9/11 and after 9/11.”

‘Back to the Future’ Nike Air Mags Auctioned Off for Charity [VIDEO]
We recently told you about the Nike Air Mags, the ‘Back to the Future 2′-inspired shoes that pay homage to the footwear sported by Michael J. Fox’s Marty McFly in the blockbuster sequel.
Now, Nike has confirmed the Mags are real, but good luck getting your hands on a pair: In a ’BTTF’-inspired promo (which featured cameos from Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, Bill Hader as a shoe store staffer and Kevin Durant as a confused customer), we learn that only 1,500 pairs of the shoes have been produced and they’ll be going to the highest bidders.

National 9/11 Flag Touring the United States
After the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, one of the largest American flags damaged during the attacks continued to fly above the resulting wreckage during the clean-up efforts.
Seven years later, that flag, dubbed the National 9/11 Flag, was sewn back together by tornado survivors in Greensburg, Kansas, and has also been stitched by World War II veterans, survivors of the Ft. Hood, Texas rampage, and Martin Luther King Jr.’s family.
