The road from Fayetteville, AR to Lawton, OK has been long and winding for the members of Backroad Anthem, but when they hit the stage Friday night at Swiggs Still and Grill, 7401 NW Cache Road in Lawton, it's going to be well worth the trip.

It's been a rough year of losses and rebuilding for the quintet who started out as a cover band trying to make a little extra cash, and have become one of the hottest up-and-coming groups in country music. Toby Freeman, Eric Dysart and Josh Bryant of Backroad Anthem called into the KLAW Morning Show and talked with Jeri and Seth about the past year, and about the show tonight.
