Bad news for OKC Thunder fans.  Russell Westbrook will have surgery on his right knee to repair a torn meniscus and is out indefinitely. Team officials have said there is no timeline for surgery.

Westbrook who is a  three-time All-Star was hurt in Game 2 during the Thunder's playoff series against Houston. He collided with Patrick Beverley during the second quarter. Injuring his knee.  He continued to play at the time not realizing how serious it was.

In his five seasons with the Thunder, Westbrook has never missed a game, holding a league record 394 straight regular season games.  In fact he has played in all of OKC's 45 play off games.  He will miss Saturday's game 3 in Houston.

We wish him a speedy and healthy recovery.
