If you’ve been dying to get the details on Blake Shelton‘s upcoming Christmas album, the wait is almost over.

In June, Nashville keyboard player Gordon Mote revealed that he had been in the studio working on the holiday-themed album with Shelton. The popular country crooner has been quiet about his upcoming studio offering, but on Tuesday (August 7), he’ll spill about the record to talk show host Chelsea Handler on ‘Chelsea Lately,’ according to CMT.

Mr. Miranda Lambert has become one of country music’s most recognizable stars in recent years, much thanks to his role as a coach on ‘The Voice’ and his busy touring schedule. Shelton, along with fellow coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green have already filmed a few segments — including an Olympics-themed commercial — for Season 3 of ‘The Voice,’ which will premiere on Sept. 10.

The ‘Honey Bee’ hitmaker will be on the road quite a bit in August, sandwiching his August 7 appearance on ‘Chelsea Lately’ with outdoor performances at the Watershed Music Festival in Bellingham, Wash. and at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, N.Y.

Somehow, in the midst of it all, Shelton has managed to cut a Christmas record. This will be a first from the country star, whose last release was the well-received ‘Red River Blue’ in July 2011. So far, neither Shelton nor his label, Warner Nashville, has said a word about what songs will appear on the disc, and whether Lambert will contribute to her hubby’s holiday record. But if we had to bet on it, we’d put our money on some kind of drinking-themed Christmas song showing up. That seems right up the hilarious country star’s alley.

For more details, tune into ‘Chelsea Lately’ on the E! Network on Tuesday, August 7.
