It's a natural thing when touring with a hit songwriter that at some point you will collaborate on a new idea. That's exactly what happened when Brantley Gilbert joined Eric Church on his headlining Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour earlier this year.

So when you combine the two outlaws ... just exactly what kind of song do you get?

"It’s a funny one!" Gilbert tells Taste of Country with laughter. "He had a buddy who called him and was talking about his job. He said, ‘Man, I’m working 50 hours and getting paid for 40 … I’m thinking about just quitting. I’m already broke!’"

Both Church and Gilbert felt that was the perfect place to start. "So we just kind of put that into music," Gilbert recalls. "The song’s called 'Why the Hell Not, I’m Already Broke' [laughs]."

Church is already looking forward to the possibilities the newest leg of his Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour may bring. The latest trek launched earlier this month. This time he's bringing along Justin Moore and Kip Moore. Click here for a full list of dates where the tour will be stopping.
