Legendary country duo Brooks & Dunn are getting back in the spotlight together, confirming on Thursday (Feb. 7) that they will be joining The Voice as Blake Shelton’s Battle Advisors.

"This just in," the duo write on Instagram alongside a promotional photo of them standing alongside Shelton. "We're joining #TeamBlake as Battles Advisors this season on @nbcthevoice! We’re coming for you @blakeshelton!"

Through the years, Shelton has called in the help of many a country comrade to help him advise his team on the singing competition show, including everyone from Rascal Flatts to Luke Bryan to Trace Adkins.

A new season of NBC's The Voice starts on Feb. 25 and will include not only Shelton, but coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, too.

The Voice news is just a small piece of a bigger story for the country duo made up of Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks, who are also reportedly working on a new album called Reboot that will feature some of today's hottest stars covering their classic hits. If that wasn’t enough good news for Brooks & Dunn fans, it also was recently announced that Brooks has grabbed a nomination for National On-Air Personality of the Year at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards for his American Country Countdown radio show. The ACM Awards will take place on April 7.
