It wouldn’t be a complete country awards show without Carrie Underwood, so it’s only fitting that she was just announced as one of the performers at the upcoming 2016 CMT Music Awards.

Additionally, it was revealed that The Voice alum Cassadee Pope will be performing alongside rapper Pitbull — who is no stranger to country music — and Brit pop star Leona Lewis for what certainly promises to be a unique musical event. Brothers Osborne, LoCash, Maren Morris and Michael Ray will play on the Firestone stage.

Underwood currently holds the record for most Video of the Year wins, and she is nominated again this year in that category for "Smoke Break," up against Cam’s equally fiery "Burning House," Blake Shelton’s "Sangria," Chris Stapleton’s "Fire Away," Little Big Town’s "Girl Crush," Tim McGraw’s "Humble and Kind" and others. She’s slated to perform her latest single, "Church Bells."

Pope's multi-genre collaboration is just one of the intriguing pairings at the show, as Dierks Bentley will be bringing in throwback-style pop star Elle King for his performance of "Different for Girls," his new single in which she guests on his record, Black. Billy Ray Cyrus is set to perform with Cheap Trick, while pop group Fifth Harmony are teaming up with Cam among other duets and solo performances from country powerhouses like Stapleton and Luke Bryan. An epic performance from three standout country artists — Keith Urban, Brett Eldredge and Morris — is also sure to be a standout.

Tune into the 2016 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night (June 8) to see it all go down live. Hosted by Erin Andrews and J.J. Watt, the fan-voted event airs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena at 8PM ET on CMT.
