Carrie Underwood will anchor the kickoff of Spotify's new concert series, Hot Country Live.

The superstar is a Fourth of July show at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in the historic Seaport District in New York. It's the first of what Spotify says is a series of live concert events that will feature artists from their Hot Country playlist performing live at various venues across the U.S.

Dan + Shay will open the inaugural show before Underwood takes the stage, along with other artists that are set to be announced in the coming weeks. “I’m thrilled to be a part of Spotify’s first ever Hot Country Live show, and can’t wait to celebrate the holiday playing live music under the stars," the "Cry Pretty" superstar says in a press release.

Underwood has a busy 2018 ahead, as she's gearing up for the release of her sixth studio album — the first since she moved to new label home Capitol Records. Cry Pretty will be released on Sept. 14.

"There's so much love in here, and heart, that has gone into writing songs, putting music to these songs. Everything has been done in such a careful and loving way," she says of the project.

Following an incredible performance at CMA Fest, the powerhouse vocalist will bring her talents as a headlining act to 2018 WE Fest. Other headliners include Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line. Buy tickets here.
