After making her dynamic return to the stage at the 2018 ACM Awards with an electric performance of "Cry Pretty," Carrie Underwood is now making plans to return to the stage which means so much to her: the Grand Ole Opry.

Underwood, an Opry member, will play the famed venue on June 5 to kick off CMA Music Fest Week. In a press release announcing the June 5 show, it's noted that Underwood will also make a visit to the Grand Ole Opry on May 11 in celebration of her tenth Opry anniversary.

The announcement is yet another indication that things are getting back to normal for the superstar, who continues to recuperate from injuries sustained in a fall at her home last year. In fact, it looks to be a busy summer for her — Underwood will also be playing at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest (June 7-10) alongside friends and fellow headliners Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton and Dierks Bentley.

All of this summer fun will lead up to the Sept. 14 release of Cry Pretty, Underwood’s first studio album for Capitol Records Nashville. “At this point in my career, I feel stronger and more creative than ever,” she admits. ”I think you can hear that in this new album.  It’s emotional, it’s soulful, it’s real, and we also have some fun on there too.  I hope everyone loves it as much as I have loved making it."

It's not clear if Underwood will tour in 2018 — thus far she has limited stops on her calendar, including an August headlining gig at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
