Today's catch of the day comes from an artist who made his name as a traditional honky-tonk style performer, then blending that traditional style with a more modern style.

Alan Jackson has sold more than 80 million albums world wide, with 50 top-10 hits, 35 of those making it all the way to #1. He has 2 Grammys Awards, 16 CMA Awards, 17 ACM Awards and is a member of the Grand Ole Opry. In August, 2014 the Country Music Hall of Fame opened an exhibit celebrating Jackson’s 25 years in the music industry, naming Jackson an artist is residence. The exhibit highlights different milestones in Jackson's career with memorabilia collected over the years.

To say that Alan Jackson has "been there, done that" would be an understatement.

Jackson kicked off his 25th Anniversary "Keeping It Country" Tour January 8, in Estero, FL. His career has produced 16 studio albums, 10 compilation albums, 2 Gospel albums, 2 Christmas albums and a live compilation with George Strait and Jimmy Buffett. 16 of these albums have been certified platinum by the RIAA, with three more reaching gold certification.

Not bad for a kid from Tennessee who grew up with his parents and 4 sisters living in a house so small, that sometimes, his bed was in the entry way because of lack of room. A man who, even through trials and tribulations, is still married to his high school sweetheart Denise, 36 years later.

Jackson released his 16th studio album, Angels and Alcohol on June 15th. The first single from the album is in our spotlight today. Alan Jackson and "Jim and Jack and Hank" is our Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
