Who knew when Blane Howard was 3 years old, strumming along on a blue and green plastic guitar to Alan Jackson's "Chasing That Neon Rainbow" in his parents' living room, that his dreams of country music stardom would be within his grasp. Growing up in Hot Springs, Arkansas, he had plenty of country influences, including Jackson, Garth Brooks and Randy Travis, but was also influenced by rockers like Lynyrd Skynyrd and AC/DC. Howard is more than just a country singer, he is a country music fan, taking a little bit from every artist he sees or hears and blends them into a unique style all his own.

Howard has played both the Arkansas and Texas state fairs, and has also performed in showcases like Nashville's Next Big Twang and the CMA Fest Showcase, while opening for artists such as Trace Adkins, Travis Tritt and Blake Shelton. Each time he has learned a little something about performing or music in general, and added it to his unique combination of traditional and modern country music.

Howard released his debut EP 'Bout Time in 2013, meeting with warm critical response. It was followed in 2015 by his first full length album, Away We Go. The album led to Howard being the 2015 Independent Musician Promotions Country Artist of the Year, as well as winning Best Original Country Song, for "Crazy". Blane is in the studio, working on his follow-up to Away We Go, and we have the first single and title-track in our spotlight today.
