Today's Catch of the Day comes from arguably the best guitar player in country music since Roy Clark; maybe better.

An artist who has won 3 Grammy Awards, 14 ACM Awards, 14 CMA Awards and 2 AMA's. He has scored 34 Top 10 hits, 19 of which have gone to #1, and 10 of his 11 albums have gone platinum or better (the only exception, a Christmas album). He has served as an awards show co-host and is a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

To say he is an "experienced artist" is an understatement.

Known mostly for his ability to easily navigate between a serious, tender side and a humorous, playful side, Brad Paisley began playing guitar at 8 years old, when his grandfather, Warren Jarvis gave him a Sears Danelectro Silvertone. He wrote his first song at age 13, forming his first band --- Brad Paisley and the C-Notes and before long he was opening for acts like The Judds and George Jones.

Paisley studied for two years at West Liberty State College, then earned a full ASCAP scholarship to the prestigious Belmont University in Nashville, eventually graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Within week of graduation he signed a song-writing contract with EMI Music Publishing; two months after that a recording contract with Arista Nashville. His first album was 1999's Who Needs Pictures, which featured his first two #1s, "He Didn't Have To Be" and "We Danced."

15 years and 10 platinum albums later, Brad Paisley's third single from his 2014 album Moonshine In The Trunk is today's Catch. Your Monday Catch of the Day is Brad Paisley and "Crushin' It"; new music you haven't heard, but you will be hearing it again.
