Brenda Burch has captivated audiences in the United States, Europe and Asia with her energetic performances, rich vocal style and ability to connect with a crowd through the emotive story of a song. Having shared the stage with Darius Rucker, Neal McCoy, Diamond Rio and Collin Raye, among others, Brenda has been given her the chance to convey her strength to thousands of concert-goers.

Whether performing for a full stadium at the Tokyo Dome or singing in a more casual house-concert setting, you can’t help but be drawn in by her soulful voice. Brenda has topped the European Country music charts, worked with Grammy award-winning songwriters and musicians and has written music for corporate conventions, video games, commercials and charitable causes. Voiceovers and on-camera work are also part of her repertoire, not to mention she’s performed the National Anthem at ballparks and stadiums full of sports fans. This girl loves to sing, and it’s been that way since her childhood.

From the time Brenda was a baby, her parents were well-aware of, at least, the sheer volume of her voice. Projecting her voice came in handy at three years old when she made her performance debut singing for an audience of two thousand. She began singing professionally at age six, recording the theme song for an educational film and later recorded vocals for commercials and national children’s albums.

Growing up, Brenda listened to and performed a wide range of music, but Country always felt like home. She also studied piano, dance and excelled at sports. As captain of her high school volleyball team, athletics played a big part in her life, but music was a constant companion. While at college, Brenda studied hard and worked her way through school by performing and recording. She graduated with honors and was hired into the corporate world where she managed large administrative departments while continuing her musical pursuits traveling back and forth between Utah and Nashville.

Her new EP titled, Sparks Will Fly, is compiled of six compelling songs that range from a tongue-and- cheek spin on dating life, to following your heart and having the courage to love what matters most. She teamed with talented producers, musicians and songwriters at 4 Music Productions in Nashville to produce her new EP, Sparks Will Fly, which lets Brenda’s western roots shine through while fusing traditional elements with a modern vibe.

We have the lead single for Sparks Will Fly in our spotlight today. Brenda Burch and "No Better Time" is today's Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
