Today's catch of the day comes from an up-and-coming performer who has many hats in the country music industry. Singer, songwriter, producer, engineer and graphic artist, Brian Collins has done it all.

As a songwriter, Brian's work has gone beyond the country music world to touch people world wide. In 1985, Collins lost his sister Karen to leukemia, and as part of his healing process, wrote the song "She Will Ride" with Zac Brown Band bassist John Driskell Hopkins. It became an anthem for cancer survivors world wide, leading to the She Will Ride Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research to find a cure. Founded by Collins and Blue Light Entertainment, the non-profit began in 2013.

Self-described as a cross between Eli Young Band, Bob Seger and Bruce Springsteen, Collins' hard work and dedication has seen him pull-in opening gigs for artists as diverse as Kiss, Will Hoge, James Otto, Zac Brown Band, the Marshall Tucker Band, Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more.

Collins released the album Healing Highway in November of 2014 and today's Catch of the Day is the second single from that album. Brian Collins and "Shine A Little Love" is new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
