Today's catch of the day comes from an Illinois quintet that toes that subtle line between southern rock and rockin' country with a style of their own.

In 2012, Brushville went to Nashville to compete with 300 other acts to compete in the prestigious Battle For The Saddle, at the legendary Wildhorse Saloon. A panel of top industry professionals selected them as the top act that year. They have performed at large festivals such as Chicago's Country Music Festival, Country Fest and Country Thunder in Wisconsin. These appearances have gotten the attention of some pretty powerful names in Nashville.

The band has opened for Thomas Rhett, the Band Perry, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley among others and has gotten songs for their debut album from writers Tyler Farr and Rhett Aikens, David Lee Murphy and Dallas Davidson.

Their debut, self-titled album charted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseeker chart  and #22 on iTunes TOP Country Albums chart. The band is in the spotlight today with the second single for the album as our Catch of the Day. Brushville and "Dangerous" is new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
