Today we feature an artist who has been in Nashville since 2003, but who didn't find the top-10 on the country chart until 2012.

Dustin Lynch was born and raised in Tullahoma, TN. His upbringing included classic country music, which he has been able to fuse with the modern country sound to deliver a unique sound, making him one of today's up-and-coming young artists. Many have compared him to George Strait, even going as far as to call him the successor to the King's traditional country throne.

Lynch's self-titled debut album hit #1 on the country album chart in 2012, making him the only male artist to accomplish the feat in that year. His debut single, "Cowboys and Angels" made it to #2 on the country singles chart, finishing the year as one of Billboard magazine's top-5 country songs of the year. The album would spawn two more top-20 singles, "She Cranks My Tractor" and "Wild In Your Smile", spurring the album to over 100,000 copies sold.

In 2014, "Where Its At (Yep, Yep)" would become Lynch's first number one single. It was the lead single and title track for his second album, which would also produce a second number one, "Hell of a Night" which was released in November of the same year, and would take an incredible 10 months to climb to the #1 position on the Billboard Country chart.

Today's spotlight lands on the third single from Where Its At. Dustin Lynch and "Mind Reader" is today's Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
