Today's Catch of the Day comes from a performer who, by the way he can captivate an audience, is becoming the Bruce Springsteen of country music. He even paid homage to "the Boss" with a song named after him.

Eric Church has gone from writing hit songs for Terri Clark ("The World Needs A Drink") to distributing copies of his debut album, 2006's Sinners Like Me, by hand to filling 18,000 seat venues on his current Outsiders world tour. Church saw his debut single, "How 'Bout You" first rejected by his record company, Capitol Nashville, because it "didn't seem interesting enough", but their attitude changed after the were convinced by producer Jay Joyce convinced them to take a chance on The North Carolina native. Sinners Like Me not only produced "How 'Bout You", which peaked at #14, but "Two Pink Lines" and "Guys Like Me" which both reached the top 20.

Three albums later, 2014's The Outsiders has launched Church into the stratosphere of country music stardom. The album has received critical acclaim, along numerous award nominations and victories. The album has produced four top 10 hits, including the #1's "Gimme Back My Hometown" and "Talladega". The fifth single from the album, co-written by Church and Casey Bethard, is today's Catch of the Day. Eric Church and "Like A Wrecking Ball", new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
