Today we focus on a young singer who recently became the first female, independent label artist to notch three consecutive Top 20 records on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart.

Erica Nicole grew up a fan of classic country artists like Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline, her Georgia roots and work ethic serving her well in the country music industry. The past couple years have been a whirlwind for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket fan, spending long days on radio tours and in the studio, challenging herself every step of the way to write her best songs, and perform to the very best of her talents, whether in the studio, or in front of a live audience.

Erica's debut album, I'm Making Mine, was produce by Nashville legend Kent Wells, who also produced many of Dolly Parton's biggest hits. The album features the singles "I Listen To My Bad Girl" and "It's Comin' Down", both singles climbed to top-20 status on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart. With her latest single, she became the first female Indy country artist in the charts history to crack the top-20 three consecutive times.

Erica's touring has taken her to Fenway Park in Boston and Citi Field in New York, where she has sang the National Anthem for both Red Sox and Met fans, as well as opening spots for Eric Paslay. She has recently settled in Nashville, building her dream home just outside Music City in Leiper's Fork. Erica dedicates what spare time she has to the charity organization Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities to help raise funds and awareness for those facing such obstacles in their lives, a cause that is near and dear to her heart.

The third single from the album I'm Making Mine is in our spotlight today. Erica Nicole, featuring Jamie O'Neal, with "Like I Do" is today's Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
