Its Thursday and that means its Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday at the Catch of the Day. Today's artist is an up-and-coming singer and songwriter from the Cleveland, Ohio area looking to make a big splash in the country music world.

Ginger Pangas is a down-to-earth girl from Cleveland, Ohio, who has loved singing and performing ever since she was a little girl. The desire to pursue a career in music became more than just a dream when Ginger was 14 years old, thanks to the strong support of her loving parents, which enabled to focus on her music career.

During her high school years, Ginger took her singing aspirations to the next level.  She attended the nationally-known School of Rock music school for high school students.  This experience helped Ginger learn the skills she needed to hone her music skills, performing live with bands, leading to such prestigious gigs as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In her senior year, Ginger released her first single, "Believe", establishing a fan base that follows her strongly to this day.

In 2013, Ginger released her second single, "Let Loose", which garnered much attention in the Cleveland area. The Single earned Ginger two Northeast Ohio Music Awards for Best Solo Artist and Country Artist of the Year. As a result of these honors, Ginger received a lot of press and recognition including an interview with The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and a special guest performance with Ohio Idol.

2014 was a busy year for Ginger in which she has delivered her third single, "Country Beach", a strong upbeat summertime song, which received excellent reviews and comments within the music industry, as well as considerable local airtime.

Ginger quickly followed-up "Country Beach" with "He’s Not You", which shows her softer side, highlighting her vocal strengths. This Cleveland girl is looking to spread her horizons, and today the spotlight shines on her most recent single.
