It's Thursday once again, and as it norm on this day, it's time to focus on another of Nashville's great unsigned or independent label artists. Today, we feature a young singer and songwriter from North Carolina who, while she has toured with several top rock acts recently, is no poser; she is a true country girl though and through.

Kasey Tyndall is a good ol' southern girl from Greenville, NC, sweet as a glass of southern tea and grounded as the day is long. She toured as the opening act for bands like Bon Jovi and Stryper, but her powerful country love songs and rowdy anthems prove that Tyndall has stayed true to her roots.

Kasey's road to Nashville became a little more direct in 2014, when she won a local radio station contest to sing "We Were Us" with Keith Urban when his tour came to town. Still a full-time college student, she soon signed with WME Management, the team that also handles Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Chris Stapleton. She soon moved to Nashville, where she would almost immediately begin writing with award winning writer Doug Johnson, who has penned hits for Randy Travis, Lee Brice and Rascal Flatts. She has also shared writing sessions with Neil Mason from the Cadillac Three and Tommy Cecil, who has numerous #1 hits on his resume.

2016 saw a publishing deal with Sony ATV for Tyndall and more than 100 dates on the road, opening for Kane Brown, Granger Smith and others. In between tour dates, she found time to hit the studio to produce her debut EP with Cecil producing the project. With the release of her debut single, Kasey shows no signs of slowing down in 2017. We have that debut single in our spotlight today. Kasey Tyndall and "Everything Is Texas" is today's Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
