It's Thursday, and again we search the unsigned or indy label artists looking for their break, and introduce one to you we feel that you should know. Today, a group from Southern Georgia, who became one of the few indy label artists to see their debut album distributed by WalMart.

Founded in 2004, Kason Layne is one of those bands that sounds like a him rather than a them. Their debut single, "Miss You Bad" charted simply on the strength of the band's hard work, visiting radio stations and playing every dive bar and college campus that would open their doors for them.

Opening stints for artists including Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Brantley Gilbert and Chris Young didn't hurt the single's success any either. Their debut album, Living It Up, received distribution through out the south and landed spots on both the Billboard Country Albums chart and the Music Row Album chart.

With a sound that blends all of their influences, the best of Southern Rock, Modern Country and classic honky-tonk, giving them a sound comparable to many in the "outlaw" movement of the  70's. The group is preparing to release their second album in September, and we have the lead single in our spotlight today. Brought to you by All American Super Car Wash of Lawton.
