Today's Catch of the Day comes to you from not one, but two established stars, one being a former rocking guitarist born in Whangarei, New Zealand and the other, a hard edged country boy from Granite Falls, North Carolina.

Born in New Zealand, but raised in Caboolture, Queensland, Australia, Keith Urban first came to "the states" in 1992, touring as a back-up singer behind Australian rockers INXS and appearing in Alan Jackson's video for "Mercury Blues". He spent 5 years writing and working as a background musician for everyone from Charlie Daniels to the Raybon Brothers to Toby Keith. In 1997 he formed The Ranch, recording one self-entitled album for Capitol Records Nashville, featuring two singles, "Walkin' the Country" and "Just Some Love", which both failed to crack the top 50.

Eric Church began playing guitar at age 13, and by his senior year in high school, had landed a regular gig playing in a local bar. His band, The Mountain Boys, continued to play bars and restaurants through out the Carolinas until Eric decided to move to Nashville with a degree in business from Appalachain State University in his pocket and song-writing in his heart. Church began recording his own material in 2006 after writing hit singles for Terri Clark and Dean Miller.

Today's Catch comes from Urban's latest album Fuse, which has already produced the hit singles "Little Bit of Everything", "We Were Us" (with Miranda Lambert), "Cop Car" and "Somewhere In My Car". The album's fifth single "Raise 'em Up" is today's Catch of the Day. Keith Urban featuring Eric Church, new music you haven't heard, but you will be hearing it again...
