Today's Catch of the Day comes to us from a young artist that is striving to become a second generation country star. When you are an up and coming recording artist, its an incredibly good idea to write a positive song about the president and founder of your record label and include it on your first album. It also doesn't hurt if the president of that label is your father.

Krystal Keith's first entry onto the musical charts came in 2004 at the age of 17, also performing at the CMA awards show. She dueted with her father, Toby, on a cover of "Mockingbird", which appears on his Greatest Hits album, reaching #27 on the Country charts. After the release of the single, at her father's insistence, she enrolled, and later graduated from the University of Oklahoma. She released her debut album, Whiskey and Lace in 2013, on Show Dog Records, the label started and run by her father.

The album features the single "Daddy Dance With Me", a song Krystal wrote for the father-daughter dance at her wedding. The first time Toby heard the song, was when Krystal sang it to him at the wedding. Today, its our Catch of the Day; music you may not have heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
