Today's catch comes to us from a duo, who were originally a trio, and who feature a member who has been the  subject of Taylor Swift's pen. But it was in a good way.

Originally signed to Carolwood Records, a division of Lyric Street Records, as a trio in 2006, Brian Bandas, Stephen Barker Liles, and Eric Gunderson, collectively known as Love and theft, toured as an opening act for Taylor Swift's 2008 tour. Liles is the subject of "Hey Stephen" which appears on Swift's 2008 album Fearless. He co-wrote the tracks "Wrong Baby Wrong Baby Wrong" for Martina McBride's 2009 album Shine and "Kissin' in Cars", featured on the soundtrack for the film Country Strong.

The trio released one album for Carolwood, World Wide Open, before Disney announced the closing of Lyric Street and its subsidiaries in April of 2010, leaving Love and Theft without a record deal. The trio became a duo in 2011 when Bandas left the band. Liles and Gunderson then signed with RCA Nashville later the same year.

The pair released "Angel Eyes" in November of 2011; by August 2012, the song became Love and Theft's first Number One single. It was the lead single and title track from their second album, which RCA released via RCA in July of 2012.

In October 2014, Love And Theft parted ways with Sony Music Nashville, self-releasing their third album Whiskey on My Breath via independent label Hate & Purchase Music this past February. The title track and second single from the album is in our spotlight today. Your Catch of the Day is Love and Theft with "Whiskey on My Breath", new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
