Today we feature a group that is no stranger to the KLAW Morning Crew, having visited with us in the studio the first time they were our Catch of the Day. A group that blessed us with the Premier of their video for "Bye Bye".

The Sarah Dunn Band are good friends of the KLAW Morning Crew. When they released their debut album You Are The Whiskey, they spent time with us promoting the lead single "Bye Bye", premiering the video at klaw.com.

Sarah inherited toughness and resiliency from her mother and has applied that to the country music industry; which means the industry doesn't stand a chance against Sarah. The Monett, Missouri native comes from strong stock, a musical family, which included her grandfather, a rocker back in his day, that influenced Sarah to start singing early, while her mother played the piano. The family would come together after working on the farm all day and sing and play music, relieving the hours of hard work.

Dunn's grandfather, Max Brown, had some success with a regional hit "Take Time To Smell The Flowers" in the 70s, and still performs around the southwest, MO area. Watching her grandfather perform inspired Sarah, and her decision on following in his footsteps into the music industry. She began singing in church as a child, and by the time she became a teenager, she had decided on her future path. She began performing professionally while in high school, but because of her age, she had trouble getting hired. Her mother helped her put a band together, and Sarah began home-schooling to give her more time to concentrate on music.

During this time, Dunne recorded her first song, "If I Never Love Again" and the video found its way to GAC. Early on her path to Nashville began to materialize, with Sarah making trips to Music City to hone her craft, beginning the ground work for what would become the Sarah Dunne Band. The group would release their debut album in 2015, splitting the next year-and-a-half between radio promotional appearances and touring across the nation. The lead single would crack the top-40 on the country singles chart, and the video would air on both GAC and CMT.

Part of 2016 and 2017 was also spent in the studio, the group working on their second album, Unbridle Me, and we have the lead single in our spotlight today.
