‘Catch of the Day’ – Tyler Rich [VIDEO]

Born in Antioch, TN, Tyler Rich was raised in the Northern California town of Yuba City, 10 miles north of the State Capital, Sacramento. While not exactly a hot bed of country music, Northern California did provide the opportunity that ignited Tyler's country music fire. At age 8, a cousin took him to see George Strait in Concert, and Tyler was hooked!

Rich immersed himself in everything country. From George to Garth, Alan Jackson and many others were the early influence that guided Tyler towards his passion. At age 13, his grandparents presented him with a guitar as a Christmas present, which led to countless hours honing his talents.

After many hours working on his craft and many years touring the country coast to coast fronting bands who opened for artists like Easton Corbin, Will Hoge and Maddie and Tae, Tyler Rich has decided to give it a go as a solo artist. His debut, an as yet untitled solo album, is scheduled for release later this year, but we've got the lead single in the spotlight today.
