Its Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday at the Catch of the Day, and today's featured artist is currently climbing the Texas Country Music chart with his latest single.

William Clark Green was born and raised in Flint, TX. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in music, but didn't wait until graduation to put his music to work. He released his first album, Dangerous Man in 2008, while still a student at Tech. Clark followed this album with Misunderstood, in 2010; both albums failed to chart. It wasn't until his third album, 2013's Rose Queen, that Green caught the attention of the country music world, with the album peaking at #34.

None of the first three albums charted a single on the country chart, but Rose Queen saw three singles, including "It's About Time" hit the top 10 on the Texas Country Music chart. Clark's latest release, 2015's Ringling Road, which has climbed to #18 on the Country albums chart and #12 on the Indie albums chart, netted Clark his first Texas #1 hit, "Sympathy".

The second single off of the album is quickly climbing the Texas chart and is in our spotlight today. Today's Catch of the Day is William Clark Green and "Sticks and Stones", new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
