I was in the PX recently and a mom was doing some shopping with her two kids (one was six and one was eight). They were talking about the thunderstorm that had blown through the night before and how scared they (including the mom) had been. We were both doing the go-down-every-aisle thing when I heard the smallest child ask, "Mommy, but I don't understand why God is angry when there is big thunder."
Our Digital Managing Editor, Aaron, has the most adorable little girl. I love to see their photos on Facebook and enjoy seeing her painting her Daddy's toenails or putting all different colored barrettes in his hair. There is nothing more adorable than a Dad and his daughter. I found several videos of Dad's and daughters having fun together and wanted to share them with you.
This toddler must be auditioning for the pre-school debate club. I know if I had tried to negotiate with my Mom this way (calling her by her first name). I would have had one of those "pow pows" on my butt!
Tomorrow my first Grand Child, McKayla turns 4 years old. We had a little party at Chuck E.Cheese this afternoon and will have a little family dinner tomorrow. Presents were plentiful, as were members of her family, with one exception.
