A Memorial Day program to remember and honor all military members who have served or are currently serving our Nation will be held at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Road in Elgin.

Star Trek: Into Darkness is a sequel to J.J Abrams’ 2009 “reboot” of the franchise. I put reboot in quotations because I don’t really consider it a restart of the series. I consider the new films set in their own alternate timeline because one of stamps the series was famous for was alternate realities and time travel. Well it’s just that it’s Star Trek in an alternate timeline and the sequel to the 2009 film is just as impressive as the first but falls a bit short from its predecessor.

Cameron University Biology Education majors Kaci Clippinger and Kelsy Hebert have constructed educational tree tours as part of their senior projects. Clippinger designed a 10 tree tour at the Environmental Education Center at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Hebert’s tree tour features 15 trees at the Nature Sanctuary at MacArthur Middle School.
