America has lost one of it most beloved broadcasters this weekend, just a month ago Andy Rooney gave his last commentary on the CBS Sunday evening show 60 Minutes and called it a career after being on 60 minutes since 1978 and doing 1,097 commentaries.
You know, when you work in radio you really don't get a lot of time to really listen to music let alone an entire album. I was curious about Toby Keith's new album Clancy's Tavern. So, while I was working on stuff for our websites I thought I would take a listen to the album. My opinion? I know it's not worth much but here it is...

Everyone thinks their neighborhood is the best for trick-or-treating. But the folks at real estate site Zillow have actually compiled a list of the best cities for scoring some ‘tricks or treats’ this Halloween.
In creating its third annual Trick-or-Treat Index, Zillow considered factors such as median home values, crime rates, population density and overall “walkability” when choosing the 20 best urban areas in which to gather candy on October 31.
So how does your city measure up?
According to a new Gallup poll, 50 percent of American adults favor legalizing marijuana, the highest percentage in Gallup’s 42-year history of asking that question. Forty-six percent of Americans believe marijuana should remain illegal.

Forty-seven percent of Americans think Wall Street hurts the American economy more than it helps, whereas only 38 percent think the opposite is true.
The fight over taxes and the public debt is never far from the headlines lately, and Toby Keith has never been shy about speaking his mind on political matters, so it’s only natural that he offered his thoughts about taxes when speaking with the Boston Herald.

A survey of 30,000 people in 15 nations by the social networking site Badoo.com has found that America ranks as the world’s “coolest nationality.”
Other countries singled out for their hip nature were Brazil (second coolest overall) and Spain (coolest in Europe.) Belgium edged out Poland for least coolest nationality status.
The terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 left an indelible mark on Americans. But even as the first responders climbed through the rubble in New York, Washington, DC and Pennsylvania, the country embarked on a “War on Terror.” With that war came years of conflict in Afghanistan and Iraq, indefinite detention of terror suspects without charges or trial, enhanced interrogation techniques, extraordinary rendition and the passage of the USA Patriot Act.
Ten years later, Americans are still wondering if it was wise to sacrifice some privacy and freedoms in order to fight terrorism.
