Classic Country – Tribute to George Jones
All morning we will pay tribute to George Jones. The "Possum" was laid to rest this past Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville after a two and one half hour service that included many country stars talking about George and their favorite memories.
Most fitting was the final song sang before George Jones left the Grand Ole Opry house for the final time was Alan Jackson coving George's signature song "He Stopped Loving Her Today."
