This last week has been one of those that you blink twice and it is gone.  It was filled with fun and laughter but ended with tragedy and tears.  Monday and Tuesday, we were all involved with the  Armed Service's YMCA at their 4th annual Y-Fry.  What  a great service they provide giving right back to the Military community from the money raised over two nights. Thank you to all who came out and ate and helped out a worthy cause.

The week ended on a tragic note.  The Oklahoma State Cowboys lost their Ladies Basketball coach and his main assistant in a plane crash while on a recruiting trip.  Even as a deep rooted bleed Crimson and Cream fan that I am, I bowed my head in sorrow for the Cowboy Nation.  I pray that they will be able to find and receive peace and comfort as they move forward.

This beautiful sunset picture was taken on the way to the Holiday in the Park parade.  Great way to end a great day in SW Oklahoma!

Last night, we had the Holiday in the Park parade.  What a site to see that magic in the eyes of the little kids lining the streets and the park area awaiting the arrival of the Man of the Season, Santa Claus.  Kaleb and I enjoyed giving the crowds that were there sounds of the season.  Only 5 weeks from today and the wait will be over then.

But we still have to get through Thanksgiving first.  Better get out and hunt down the bird if I plan on feeding my family on Thursday.  Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.
