Cody Johnson dominance of country music may be most pronounced in Texas, but the #CoJoNation is strong across the US.

Johnson continues breaking attendance record after attendance record in the Lone Star State. Over the weekend he and the boys were back at it, making history as the first ever artist to sell out the infield at Sam Houston Race Park.

But don't pigeon hole this Texan. He regularly showcases his ability to sell out venues in markets nationwide. His recent Northwest run featured sold out shows in Seattle, Portland, Reno and Boise. He sold out his first ever headline show at LA’s famed Troubador, two months in advance.

After the Sam Houston show Johnson said, “It’s been a busy year for me and what a great homecoming with the record selling crowd at Sam Houston Race Park. None of this would be possible without the fans and I am forever grateful.”

Wayne Hodes, Senior Vice President Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of Sam Houston Race Park said, “It was our first ever advance sell out of the infield here at SHRP in our 23 years of operation. All had a great time and still cannot stop talking about what an awesome concert it was!”
