Scammers are using counterfeit cash to pay for their meals at restaurants in Lawton, the local police reported.

The police also said the fake money comes in small bills - $5, $10, and $20. For the past several weeks, three fast food restaurants have encountered the counterfeit cash.

The fake cash bandits are using smaller bills because larger bills are usually inspected by cashiers.

No arrests have beet made at this time.
