Daily Digital Download: Greg Bates ‘Sand’ [VIDEO]

Country artist Greg Bates debuted his new single “Sand” on January 9th. His third single that has been released to radio. 

According to his website, the song was produced by award winning producer, Frank Rogers, the single pairs exquisitely crafted lyrics with contemporary style, and Bates’ outstanding country vocal. Co-written by Bates, Rogers and hit songwriter Lynn Hutton, “Sand” tells the reminiscent tale of summer love found and lost.

Bates, who performed and co-wrote the Top-5 hit, “Did It for the Girl” has been anxious to unveil his newest project to country music fans. “I feel like this music is Greg Bates 2.0,” the singer jokes. “Seriously, working in the studio with Frank Rogers has been such an easy and rewarding creative process. I’m so proud and excited for my fans to hear “Sand” and to make new fans through this music.”

In April 2012, Bates released his debut single "Did It for the Girl", which debuted at Number 57 on the Hot Country Songs chart dated for April 28, 2012. Billy Dukes gave the song four stars out of five, saying that it is "instantly memorable — if only for its clean simplicity." The album's second single, "Fill in the Blank," was released to country radio on February 11, 2013.
