Daily Digital Download: Joey + Rory 'When I'm Gone' [VIDEO]

This video and song from Joey + Rory is most definitely a tissue alert song. This video was released back in 2012 before Joey even knew she had cancer. Knowing the fate of Joey's cancer and thinking about those that have already passed over, makes this song very powerful.

In June 2014, Joey was diagnosed with cervical cancer not long after the birth of the couple's daughter, Indiana, who was born with Down syndrome. In 2015, Joey announced that the cancer had returned and spread to her colon. In October, Rory revealed in a blog post that Joey's cancer was terminal and they were stopping all treatment.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joey, Rory and Indiana in the hopes that she remains pain free for as long as she remains alive. And our thoughts that the Lord will wrap his arms around them and comfort them in this horrible journey that they are on.

I think I speak for all of us when I say "I HATE CANCER!"
