Daily Digital Download: Keith Urban 'Break On Me' [LISTEN]

Keith Urban recently landed his 19th No. 1 song with “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.”

Monday he released what he hopes will be his 20th, “Break On Me.”

Written by Ross Copperman and Jon Nite and co-produced by Nathan Chapman and Urban, “Break On Me” is a mid-tempo ballad that is the second single from Urban’s upcoming eighth album.

Here is what Billy Dukes from our Taste of Country staff had to say about the song:

Copperman and Nite have written a nuanced love song that recalls specific moments in one’s life while remaining somewhat open-ended. Urban’s approach is what makes the song special, however. It’s understated and accessible, like an open-handed invitation that brings the grieving in for a cathartic hug.

Did You Know?: Urban will perform with John Mellencamp during the 2015 CMA Awards in Nashville on Nov. 4.

The song is not currently available for download but should be as soon as it is released to radio on October 23rd. Keep an eye on this post and I will update it as soon as it is released.
