Daily Digital Download: Trace Adkins ‘Muddy Water’

Since today is 'gospel music day' I was having a hard time trying to decide which song to choose. Seth came into the studio and suggested 'Muddy Water' by Trace Adkins. PERFECT! You don't think of this song as a religious song but just reading the lyrics for the chorus, you see why.

"Muddy Water" was released in August 2008 as the first single from his eighth studio album, X. The song was written by Monty Criswell and Rick Huckaby.

Trace said of the song, "That has haunted me -- because it just spoke to me. I related to it. That's the way my life is."
