Singer David Nail was named Co-MVP of the 2014 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game which aired Monday night on ESPN. The game was played as part of MLB's All-Star Week at Target Field in Minneapolis..

This was Nail's third time playing in the game, in which he was awarded the MVP along with rapper Nelly. "It was definitely one of the most memorable experiences of my life," he says. "To be awarded co-MVP alongside Nelly, a fellow Missourian and Cardinal fan, was surreal. I don't think I’ll ever bat eighth again."

This is not Nail's first baseball experience. The "Red Light" singer starred in a web series for CMT in 2010, which followed his adventures as he spent spring training "trying out" for his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals.
