Dierks Bentley recently wrapped his 2018 Mountain High Tour, and knew he wanted to get a special gift for his tourmates as a token of appreciation for joining him on the road. As a ploy to get them to his tour bus at the final show in California, he masked the surprise as a brainstorm on what song to sing to close the tour.

"It's time to give out some tour presents to Brothers Osborne, Lanco and DJ Aydam," Bentley says in a clip posted to Instagram. "These guys all love Sea-Doos. What I want to do is bring them up onto the bus under the premise that I'm looking to do an encore song tonight and I'm going to give them the worst encore idea of all time."

6 Unforgettable Tour Pranks

Once the guys are all settled on Bentley's bus, he explains the idea to close out the show with a fun moment for fans. While Lanco asks if he means a cover song, Bentley shares his suggestion to sing "Sweet Home San Diego" by changing the lyrics of "Sweet Home Alabama" to fit the city they're in. It doesn't go over too well.

"That is a terrible idea," Brothers Osborne's John Osborne says as everyone erupts in laughter. "Is it too late to quit the tour?"

As the group continues to debate the song choice, Bentley suggests they move the discussion outside. Once the guys see what he's really been up to and that each member will get his own jet ski, they're in shock.

As Bentley tourmates take turns giving him a hug, someone can be heard saying, "You make dreams come true, dude!"

Sea-Doos for everyone!
